I was very pleased with the FVC running boards. Everything lined up as the instructions said they would. Installation took me about 3 hours. The included self-tapping screws (which are visible after installation) are raw metal. I put black paint over them, because I didn’t like how they stood out.

Pretty easy to put in. Just don’t over do it putting the factory bolt back in and pop the head off like I did! My mechanic is very happy too.

Here’s a suggestion based on my method—I believe it could make the process more efficient. As shown in the photos, I added pieces of cardboard (from the packaging) at the screw base. The thickness was just right. If it’s possible to print the correct dimensions on the packaging cardboard for cutting, I think it could be even more eco-friendly. I used paper tape to secure them and then closed the door. This way, the screws didn’t loosen or stick out, making installation easier. The thickness was just that of a single piece of cardboard. That’s my suggestion—thank you.

I've ordered quite a bit of gear from FVC now and they don't disappoint. My 2nd Standard rack with ladder and everything fit perfectly (First Rack/Ladder went on a 2023 Ram Promaster). Instructions were easy to follow if you go off their web based instructions. The rack is solid as is the ladder. I had issues with hardware missing on my first one but they quickly sent what I needed to resolve the issue. This time around, zero issues from box opening to finished install. I will def stick with FVC for upcoming projects. Quality product for a high price. But, everything is overpriced for these Van (understatement of the decade) so if you're going to spend, spend once with FVC.
My initial impression is that this product is very strong and well designed. Installation took about 30 minutes. The ball and socket connections are metal to metal, unlike inferior designs with plastic. You will need to drill 4 small holes and place 4 rivets to use this product. The added stability appears worth this added technical requirement. I also added touch up paint to the drilled holes to prevent future corrosion.
So far so good. Delivered on time as described and fit perfectly. Can't wait to put them to the test.
This is a great product. No longer do I have to be careful lifting the heavy Sprinter hood and set the prop to keep it open. Now I just easily lift and push open. Closing the hood is equally easy. How nice it is to have a Sprinter hood work the way it should have from Mercedes.
I installed a ladder a few years ago and recently had an accident that broke the ladder. When I contacted them again, the representative was very friendly and responsive, the delivery was very fast and as expected, their ladder fit my transit high roof perfectly. Highly recommended.
Have had the Transit Nudge Bar on my 2023 for 2 weeks now. Right outta the box the top notch build quality was obvious, and 1 person install was a breeze in about 30 minutes. It looks good, feels solid, and I’m super happy with the purchase. Next I’ll probably be ordering some of the Axia Alloys adventure van light mounts from FVC to really put the nudge bar to optimum use. 🤘

A solid 1/4th inch thick Metal material, that's relatively simple to put together, when you find the correct manual. I had to watch the video and had to search for a specific manual that they provide on their website, because I got the Lightbar version where the front piece was different. The video only shows the standard version. I am currently using it to hold 2 - 400w Rigid Solar Panels from ecoflow and it is doing what I need it to do. It's also very adjustable with its crossbars, and possesses various customization options.
